Adding weight does not actually builds muscle!

Stop adding weight to get stronger in the gym. Do this instead. You see, it can be very effective to add weight to the bar for a while, but then you run into two fatal mistakes.

Number one being, you can't add weight anymore without compromising form. So what do you do? You add weight, your form goes to shit, you're not building any muscle, you run into a ton of injuries. The second is, let's say you're doing three sets of eight, you're trying to add weight to the bar every single week.

Now that jump is now too big, so you're stuck on that three by eight, on the same weight, not building any muscle. So what do you do in this situation? Firstly, you wanna add a rep every single week for as long as possible. This way, even on the same weight, you're getting stronger, you're building muscle.

If you can't do this anymore, simply add a set. For example, if you're at three sets of eight, you can't do three sets of nine, but you can do four sets of eight. Now once you've applied these mechanisms for long enough, that jump to that next weight is gonna be super easy, you're gonna be able to keep your form and build more muscle.
