Strength or Endurance Training which is better first!

A common question comes that should we do endurance or strength training first? The answer is, in almost all the cases, always and always strength training. The amount of energy required in strength training, the glycogen reserves that you need, if you do endurance first, they get completely depleted. And after a hard endurance session, you will never be able to do a hardcore strength training session.


There is a slight difference in the case of endurance athletes whose priority is endurance. Maximum people do not have this priority. Their priority is mainly fat loss or muscle gain.


So, in both these cases, strength training will always and always come first. Do your strength training. And preferably, if you don't combine both the things, it will be even better.


If you want to do both of them in one day, then you can do it in the morning and evening. Or you can do them on an alternate day, i.e. one day strength and one day endurance. That is the best protocol if you want to do hardcore workouts.
