You can take your a cup of tea with sugar for sure!

If a statement is told in an overhyped manner, it always has a bigger impact. And this is what marketers take advantage of. When we talk about sugar, the harmful effects of sugar are told in a very overhyped manner.

There are no doubts about this and research also proves that sugar is a harmful substance. But it is harmful only when it is taken in excess. If you are consuming it in a normal amount daily, then sugar will not harm you.

I get a lot of clients who ask me if they can take sugar in their normal tea or coffee. Now this is a very stupid question. That is because they have been consuming normal tea or coffee for many years.

But in the last few years, when health and fitness were overhyped, then sugar was projected in a very bad name. Now the problem is that if we calculate, for example, if we consume 1 or 2 cups of regular tea, in which we add 1 teaspoon of sugar, then this 1 teaspoon has around 16 to 18 calories. If you add this teaspoon in a heap, then also the calories will be somewhere in the range of 25 to 30.

If you are taking 2 teaspoons daily, then the total calories will not go above 50 or 60 calories. This does not have any major effect on your calorie intake throughout the day. The problem comes when you consume continuously alcohol intake, sugary drinks intake like soft drinks, packaged juices, when all these things are consumed, your body may have 5 to 600 calories of regular tea.

And this can completely shake your diet pattern and can definitely damage your body. Human beings thrive on pleasure and taste. And sugar is a very major ingredient that gives pleasure.

If you are taking 1 or 2 cups of regular coffee or tea, in which you add a little sugar, or if you are eating 1 or 2 pieces of chocolate, because you like to eat chocolate, then this does not count in excess. This is a normal intake. In fact, this normal intake will help you to suppress your regular sugar cravings.

So please have your tea, have your coffee, with a little amount of sugar and enjoy your life.
